Rather than entering a numerical mark, teachers can enter a level using the button panel in Markbook. When entering a mark, turn on the level buttons by checking off the Display "Level" Button on the right side under Options
A grid will then appear under the Enter Mark field. Within the LEVEL (Mark) grid, choose a level and numerical value will be associated to it.
If you always want to have the panel visible, go to System --> Analysis/ Reporting and check off Always show button panel for mark input.
Do not change the default values. If the school decides to change the default values, a scheme file will be sent to you via email. Download the file and click on the Load a Scheme to upload that file to change the values. This way they are consistent for each teacher.
