Tweaking Meet for sharing video and audio
Use these tips to help improve the user experience when sharing video and sound
1. Close the number applications running and reduce the number to Chrome tabs. Too many tabs and open applications can cause poor video quality.
- Close non-essential tabs.
- Close other apps.
- Reduce the size of the Meet window.
2. Mute the Mic and turn your Webcam off
- turning off the mic will allow Meet to focus on processing the streaming of audio
- turning off webcam during your shared page will help with Meet to focus on processing your shared window
3. Have other user in their meet turn of their webcam (and mute when not talking).
3. Change the play playback resolution in YouTube or video on demand service. Sometimes the default of the video playback is high definition, reducing playback will make the processing easier for the video and audio stream.
1. Select "A Chrome tab" when presenting.
2. Make sure the "Share audio" box is checked.
3. Share your video!
